Hard Rock Hotel & Casino approves 2nd round of $100 gift cards for workers

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City announced on Thursday it will provide a second round of $100 ShopRite gift cards to its 3,000 team members.

The first round happened between May 7-8, where the cards were provided to full-time, part-time and on call workers who make less than $50,000, including those who receive tips or tokes. The second round for May 21 was approved by The Seminole Tribe of Florida; Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming; and partners Jack Morris, Joe Jingoli and Michael Jingoli.

The combined effort represents $600,000 in total commitments.

“These efforts continue to show our ownerships commitment to the city and team members and is yet another example of their dedication to living by Hard Rock’s core motto Take Time to Be Kind,” Joe Lupo, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, said.

The property does not have a definitive timeline to reopen, it said in a news release, but its team members have and will continue to be a top priority.
