Elberon Development Group, a Elizabeth-based family-owned commercial real estate firm, announced on Wednesday that Major Kitchen Cabinet Inc. has leased a warehouse in Elizabeth.
Later this year, Major Kitchen Cabinets will move to the 75,000-square-foot warehouse located at 502 York St. in Elizabeth from its 40,000-square-foot space at 150 52nd St. in Brooklyn.
The York Street space offers 20,000 square feet of lower ceiling space and 50,000 square feet of 22-foot ceilings.
“The pandemic has certainly caused significant upheaval in every aspect of our lives yet despite the many challenges we face conducting day-to-day business, this deal proves that transactions can get done when both parties are motivated to close,” Terry Armstrong, senior vice president, Elberon, said.
Elberon said it purchased the property in 2015 and has launched a capital improvement campaign which includes installing a new roof, LED lighting, pavement and the renovation of the 5,000-square-foot office area.
