Auto dealership moving from Camden to Pennsauken, Vantage RES says

An auto dealership forced to move from Camden due to eminent domain has found a new home in Pennsauken, according to Vantage Real Estate Services.

Vantage RES said City Select Auto Sales founder Lou Pellegrini has acquired a 23,000-square-foot building with multitenant capability and a 1.6-acre lot located at 5910 S. Crescent Blvd., just minutes from the current Camden location that it is leaving.

Cherry Hill-based Vantage RES said it assisted the auto dealership with the business development and zoning processes in the township — leading to full approvals — as well as the acquisition.

Vantage’s Ken Richardson, senior adviser, and Peter Abdallah, director of client services, worked with Pellegrini, as well as Eric Farhat and Haytham Ayyad of 5910 South Crescent Blvd. on the transaction. Vantage also represented Silwad RE Investment Corp. with the sale of its property.

“Pennsauken has welcomed City Select Auto, and the dealership is an asset to the community,” Richardson said in a prepared statement. “They have detailed plans on the reconstruction and modernization of the current facility, which is expected to take roughly five months to complete.”

City Select Auto was founded in Pennsauken in 1973, and currently has two locations, in Burlington and Camden, under the leadership of Mark and Drew Pellegrini.
