Vantage Real Estate Services announced on Monday the sale of a residential parcel of land associated with the Becketts Golf Course in Woolwich Township.
The Cherry Hill-based commercial real estate brokerage said a developer acquired the 2-acre parcel from Swedesboro Corp. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Vantage’s Corinne Giletto and Ken Richardson, both senior advisors, represented Swedesboro in the deal.
The developer, Vantage said, has proposed a 3,500-square-foot residential building for the lot.
“There is an incredible need for new residential development in Gloucester County at this time and we are uniquely positioned to sell a portion of the land of Becketts Golf Course for residential development,” Giletto said.
The golf course has seven additional parcels totaling 225 acres remaining for development.
“We are introducing new investors to Woolwich Township at a pinnacle time in its redevelopment,” Richardson said.
