The law firm of Bressler, Amery & Ross P.C. announced that Michael T. Hensley has been selected to the board of trustees of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey. The law firm also announced that Diana C. Manning has been elected vice president of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.

“I am honored to be named to the board of trustees of this respected association,” said Hensley. “I have been a member of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey for several years and I look forward to serving as a trustee.”

Barbara Boyle, Murphy, Miller & Baglieri LLP

Murphy, Miller & Baglieri LLP is pleased to announce that Barbara Boyle has been named a partner in the firm. Boyle concentrates her practice on taxation and business advisory services, focusing on business and individual taxation with a specialty in international taxation. She’s been with the firm for 14 years. Prior to joining Murphy, Miller & Baglieri in 2005, Boyle worked at a large regional public accounting firm and as an internal auditor at a Fortune 500 company.

Stephanie Jordan, Intac Actuarial Services Inc.

Intac Actuarial Services Inc., part of FuturePlan by Ascensus, is pleased to announce that Stephanie Jordan has joined the firm as a pension consultant. She will work with plan sponsors to administer and manage their 401(k) plans.

Jordan has extensive experience as a retirement services specialist with 401(k) plans and all other types of defined contribution plans. She is also well-versed in compliance and assisting entrepreneurs with rollovers as business startups, or ROBS. Over the past several years, she has worked with employers and participants as well as financial advisers and CPAs who are involved with clients’ plans.

“I was attracted to INTAC because I’ll be able to address sponsors’ changing needs in a client service role, which is a big plus for me,” said Jordan. “I can also work directly with clients throughout a plan’s lifespan, rather than focusing on a segmented part of plan design and administration.”

Jay McDermott, LanTree Developments

LanTree Developments, a vertically integrated developer of thoughtfully designed multifamily communities in urban locales throughout New York and New Jersey, has announced that it has hired industry veteran Jay McDermott as vice president of construction management.

In his new role, McDermott will provide expert technical oversight for all projects in the LanTree portfolio, working closely with construction management firms and subcontractors to ensure the high quality of work that the company has come to be known for.

Nancy Rumpf, QuickChek Corp.

Nancy Rumpf, QuickChek Corp.’s leader of benefits & recognition, has been named one of the “Top Women in Convenience” by Convenience Store News magazine.

Now in its seventh year, it is the industry’s first and only awards program that recognizes the important role women play in convenience retailing as managers and leaders in the $648 billion c-store industry.

Rumpf, a Hunterdon County resident, is one of just 21 senior-level leaders and one of 53 women overall who will be honored for their outstanding contributions to their company and to the industry at an awards ceremony scheduled Oct. 12 around the 2020 NACS industry trade show in Las Vegas.

Brian Allen, Clear Thinking Group

Cait English, Duke Realty Corp.

The New Jersey office of Duke Realty Corp., the leading domestic-only, pure-play logistics property real estate investment trust in the United States, announced that Caitlin (Cait) English, a leasing representative who worked out of the company’s Pennsylvania office for the past four years, has relocated and is now part of its local leasing team. While based in Pennsylvania, English was involved in several significant transactions, including ones for UPS, Amazon and XPO Logistics.

English became involved in commercial real estate while earning her bachelor’s degree at Saint Joseph’s University. She is a member of the university’s Real Estate and Construction Alumni Chapter and serves as a mentor to students in its Real Estate Society. She also is a member of CREW and NAIOP.

Charlie Kordes, Plymouth Rock Assurance

Plymouth Rock Assurance has hired Charlie Kordes as vice president of direct marketing for its direct-to-consumer auto insurance business.

In this newly created role, Kordes will be responsible for advancing Plymouth Rock’s direct marketing operations and organizational practices in its direct response channel. He will also oversee how the company is connecting new technology to support a comprehensive business approach, as well as its marketing approach and strategy for new state entry.
