AccuTitle, a Ship Bottom-based provider of title management platforms for the real estate sector, has acquired a Florida-based software company to bolster its offerings, it announced Thursday.
The deal for Landtech Data Corp., a family-owned business specializing in settlement software, will expand AccuTitle’s client base to more than 2,000 title companies, it said in a news release.
AccuTitle’s core TitleFusion product will be augmented by Landtech’s current solutions, as well as those from another recent acquisition Closers’ Choice, AccuTitle said.
“We are continuing to build our team of subject matter experts and, together with strong brands, we are creating the state-of-the-art solution that the title industry is calling for,” AccuTitle CEO Bill Bartzak said in a prepared statement. “We are proud to add the Landtech team to our rapidly growing company.”
Landtech’s employees will join AccuTitle’s team, led by Alice Bell and Dorothy Bell Cole, daughters of founder Wyatt Bell.
