New Jersey American Water appoints Maione to board

New Jersey American Water announced on Monday it has appointed Vincent Maione to its board of directors.

The Camden-based waster and wastewater utility said Maione will join two other members that were recently appointed: T. Missy Balmir and Richard T. Smith.

“We are excited to welcome Vince to our board, and we look forward to tapping into his utility expertise and leadership in New Jersey as we continue to provide high quality, reliable service to the communities we serve,” Cheryl Norton, president of New Jersey American Water, said.

Maione previously served as region president at Atlantic City Electric from 2009 to 2018. He retired in 2018 after a 33 year career and established ESM Professional Consulting LLC, a specialized consulting service for the electric power industry. He’s also a former board member of the New Jersey Utilities Association, New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, Choose New Jersey and a trustee member for Public Media N.J. Inc.
