CBRE announced on Tuesday that home appliance manufacturer Fisher & Paykel has leased an industrial space in Piscataway.
Fisher & Paykel, which is based in Costa Mesa, California, will take up a 66,375-square-foot space at a newly constructed warehouse property located within the Centennial Commerce Center at 800 Centennial Ave. The move should happen by fall 2020.
CBRE’s Mindy Lissner, Robert Pine and Ben Shapiro headed the leasing campaign at the center and represented the owner, Penford Group, an industrial real estate company. The firm also acted on behalf of Fisher & Paykel.
The center, which was completed in 2019, is a warehouse facility totaling 277,830 square feet. It is within close access to Interstate 289, Route 78, Port Newark-Elizabeth and Newark Liberty International Airport. Situated on 19.4 acres, it has 36-foot ceilings, a 140-foot loading court, 3,000 amps of power and parking for 261 cars.
“Centennial Commerce Center, a new high-image, Class A warehouse, offers immediate access to all roadways serving New Jersey and the Northeast along with unmatched proximity to the seaport and airport,” Lissner said. “The property provides a diverse and top tier labor pool in the surrounding area as well as many local amenities.”
The CBRE team said it will be marketing another 79,650 square feet of warehouse space at the property that can be divided and is available for immediate occupancy.
