Four from N.J. named to CRN’s 100 Rising Female Stars of the IT Channel list

CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, announced on Tuesday it has named four women who work in New Jersey to its 2020 list of the Top 100 Rising Female Stars of the IT Channel.

The list, which was selected by the CRN editorial team, celebrates extraordinary women who are front and center shaping the future of the IT channel through their demonstrated leadership, dedication, hard work and innovation.

“CRN’s 2020 100 Rising Female Stars list honors leaders who are poised to impact the industry for many years. They are accelerating the growth of their companies through excellent direction and innovation in their field,” Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company, said. “The accomplishments of these women are reshaping the IT channel, and we are proud to honor their achievements.”

Here are the women who made the list from New Jersey and why:

Shauna Kief, manager, worldwide channel alliances, Commvault, Tinton Falls

“Considered a channel subject matter expert by colleagues and peers, Kief is well-respected inside and outside Commvault as she works tirelessly to implement and improve processes, answer questions and solve problems to ensure partners are successful,” CRN said.

Ladina Lane, senior marketing specialist, Panasonic System Solutions Company of North America, Newark

“Lane introduced a comarketing incentive to help position channel partners as trusted advisers in rugged technology. She also led the brand transformation of the Toughbook Authorized Mobility Partner Program,” CRN said.

Penny Bonanno, mobile channel sales manager, Samsung Electronics America, Ridgefield Park

“Bonanno is a founding member of the mobility channel program. She manages two of its largest resellers, growing them significantly. Her work to help them build innovative solutions has received considerable attention,” CRN said.

Catherine Boyce, senior channel manager, Vonage, Holmdel

“Boyce says she thrives in environments where she’s able to help others, fashioning herself into a leader and mentor for her peers in the industry. Over the past year she has trained new Vonage channel managers on best practices,” CRN said.

Boyce, who has more than a decade of experience in channel, joined Vonage in 2015 as a district director of cloud solutions.
