Whitehouse Station-based Chubb announced on Wednesday that it has integrated its North American Accident and Health businesses to better address its clients’ needs and named Chris Martin to head it.
Martin, the current president of Chubb Workplace Benefits, will take over as division president of Chubb North America Accident and Health. He will be responsible for overall operations of the A&H insurance business and will oversee division strategy, product and business development, profit and loss performance, and underwriting operations.
“This integration of our A&H businesses reinforces our commitment to the marketplace, where we see tremendous opportunities to further serve our partners and clients,” Matt Merna, senior vice president, Chubb Group and division president, Chubb North America Major Accounts, said. “This new structure will provide our distribution partners and clients with greater resources and better access to products and services that are designed to meet the unique challenges of workplace and travel risk for individuals, employees, as well as a variety of organizational entities.”
Martin has more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Chubb in 2011 as president of Worksite Solutions for Combined Insurance, a Chubb Company. He was later promoted to president of Chubb Workplace Benefits in 2016.
