Quest Diagnostics, a Secaucus-based provider of diagnostic information services, announced on Monday that it has acquired its joint venture partners’ portion of Mid America Clinical Laboratories.
Under the deal, Quest will wholly-own MACL’s laboratory in Indianapolis and about 50 patient service centers throughout Indiana, providing patients and providers better access to clinical laboratory and pathology services.
Quest will also provide lab management services to about 30 hospitals owned and operated by Community Health Network and Ascension St. Vincent (former joint venture partners in MACL).
