World Insurance Associates acquires N.Y.-based insurance provider

World Insurance Associates LLC, a Tinton Falls-based insurance agency, announced on Monday it has acquired Loveman, Kornreich & Steer Inc., a White Plains, New York-based insurance provider.

“The team at Loveman, Kornreich & Steers bases their relationships on mutual respect and integrity, and we are proud to welcome them to our organization,” Rich Eknoian, co-founder and CEO of World Insurance Associates, said.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“WIA is continuously expanding in reach and growing in expertise,” Brenda Steers, president of Loveman, Kornreich & Steers, said. “The organization invests in time, energy, and technology to accommodate its growth, and we’re thrilled to contribute to our future success together.”

For WIA, Giordano, Haleran & Ciesla was legal counsel. For Loveman, Kornreich & Steers, Manhattan Group served as the advisor.
