CBRE has arranged two new office leases in Florham Park on behalf of Eastman Companies, the real estate services firm said on Wednesday.
International export company Hockman-Lewis inked a 4,600-square-foot lease at 23 Vreeland Road, while law firm Bakos & Kritzer made a 1,600-square-foot commitment there.
Eastman Companies’ Eric Maurer, director of leasing, along with the CBRE team of Jonathan Meisel, Dan Casey and Erin Wenzler, represented the owner, Eastman Companies, in the deal.
“While just a handful of new office leases were consummated since March, our team was able to work with our client to get these deals across the finish line,” Meisel said. “In spite of the challenges due to the pandemic and statewide shutdown, Eastman Companies and CBRE worked closely with the tenants to ensure the lease transactions met all parties’ requirements.”
The 69,000-square-foot 23 Vreeland Road is a two-story office building just off the Columbia Turnpike. It was modernized in 2019 to include a new tenant lounge, cafe, conference center, new lobby, electric car charge stations and a second floor common area. It is located within close access to Route 24, Interstates 287, 280 and 78, and the Garden State Parkway. Spaces between 1,200 and 12,000-square-feet are still available to lease.
Hockman-Lewis was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Dylan Tusinac and David DeMatteis, while Bakos & Kritzer represented itself.
