Lidl announced on Wednesday it has opened another New Jersey location.
This mark’s the German discount grocery chain’s 10th food market in the state. Its first location was in Arlington County, Virginia in June 2015.
The new 28,000-square-foot store will be located within the 288,000-square-foot Brunswick Shopping Center in North Brunswick, which is leased and managed by commercial real estate firm Levin Management Corp.
“The addition of this growing, sought-after grocer is an exciting win for Brunswick Shopping Center and area residents alike,” said Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty, senior leasing representative, LMC, who arranged the Lild lease as landlord representative. “As an essential category – and one that has proven to be internet-resistent – grocery is a significant element and a tremendous traffic driver for any shopping center. Additionally, Lidl’s value-priced platform makes the brand even more desirable during this challenging time for many consumers.”
The property sits just off Route 1 in the heart of North Brunswick’s retail corridor. Lidl will be joining tenants including LA Fitness, Muscle Maker Grill, GNC, Dollar Tree, Sally Beauty, McDonald’s, Sherwin Williams and Community Dental.
