Armstrong Relocation Co., a moving and logistics company based in New Castle, Delaware, announced recently it has expanded its footprint in Randolph.
The company said it leased 40,000 square feet at 5 Aspen Drive while simultaneously renewing its 84,000-square-foot lease next door at 9 Aspen Drive for a total of 124,000 square feet. Armstrong said will expand its Moving and Storage Division into 5 Aspen, which boasts 46-foot ceilings, 12 loading docks, a drive-in door and truck parking. It will also relocate its 3PL and fulfillment business into 9 Aspen.
Edison-based Resource Realty‘s Brian Wilson represented both the landlord, Randolph-based North Jersey Development, and Armstrong, in the deal.
“Armstrong’s lease at 9 Aspen Drive was coming up for renewal but they needed more than its 84,000 square feet to allow for their expansion. However, there was an existing tenant, Suburban Furniture, in the adjacent 5 Aspen Drive building. We were able to find space for Suburban to relocate and downsize into 27,000 square feet at 102 Iron Mountain Road, freeing up 5 Aspen for Armstrong’s expansion. It was truly a win for all parties.”
