Cherry Hill-based Vantage Real Estate Services, a commercial real estate brokerage, announced on Friday it has brokered an art studio lease at Smithville Square in Galloway Township.
Vantage said it worked with property ownership to finalize the lease with Your Creations Art Studio. Owner and operator, Wendy Heintz, said the business will open its doors at 45 S. New York Blvd. over the next few months.
“Your Creations Art Studio is a community centered creative studio for people of all ages that offers a variety of classes including painting, woodwork, knitting, wreath making and more. The studio is also available for birthday parties and fundraisers,” Heintz said.
Heintz said she selected Smithville Square due to its diverse tenant roster, recent beautification and traffic exposure. The property offers direct access to Route 9 and connects to the White Horse Pike via Smithville Boulevard.
Vantage’s Aran Ploshansky, director of operations, and Corinne Giletto, senior advisor, worked closely with Heintz and Smithville Square’s Scott Weinblatt to facilitate the deal.
“Working with Vantage has paved the way for Smithville Shopping Center into a new era of tenants fitted for the area. Their strategies have yielded three new leases in the past 12 months, half the time during the COVID-19 global pandemic and economic fallout,” Weinblatt said. “We are excited for Corinne and Aran’s continued expansion in the area and at our mall.”
The property still has availabilities including a 1,882-square-foot restaurant space, a 1,328-square-foot retail space and a 40,604-square-foot anchor spot.
