Cognizant expands digital engineering services with acquisition of Tin Roof Software

    Teaneck-based IT services company Cognizant said on Tuesday it will acquire Tin Roof Software, a software product engineering and consulting firm.

    Tin Roof, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializes in digital products for companies to improve customer experiences and increase revenues, offering software design, development, DevOps and delivery services for clients dependent on software.

    The acquisition, Cognizant said, will expand its software product engineering footprint throughout the United States.

    Tin Roof currently operates in Atlanta and Dallas-Fort Worth. Once the deal closes, Tin Roof’s employees with join Cognizant Softvision.

    The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2020. Financial terms were not disclosed.
