Sterling Properties, a developer of luxury residential communities, and Montclair-based Greenwood Development announced on Monday leasing has begun at The Vestry, a collection of 46 new luxury residences in the heart of downtown Montclair.
The Vestry, located at 147 Bloomfield Ave., is a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments within a walkable, suburban environment. It is within walking distance to Montclair’s shops and restaurants along the Bloomfield Avenue corridor, and is within easy access to the NJ Transit Bay Street train station.
“As one of the New York Metropolitan Area’s premier hubs for dining, shopping, arts and culture, Montclair has long been a destination for individuals who desire the advantages of the suburbs but want to maintain a cosmopolitan lifestyle,” Nicholas Hollenbeck, director of sales and marketing for Sterling Properties, said. “The Vestry opens at a time when this paradigm is expected to expand as a result of the changing desires of renters, and we believe it is the most exciting luxury residential offering that’s ever been available in Montclair.”
Residences range in size from 518 to more than 1,100 square feet and offer quartz countertops; European style cabinetry; in-unit washers and dryers; wood flooring; Porcelanosa tile; and LED lighting. Some units have a dedicated office space, private balcony and walk-out terraces. The Vestry also offers indoor and outdoor amenities, including a rooftop lounge, outdoor terrace, barbecue and pizza oven, a pool table, fitness center and dog wash.
