Jennifer Haas, Noteworth
Noteworth, a first-of-its-kind digital health care platform for modernizing digital medicine delivery operations, announced the addition of Jennifer Haas to its executive leadership team. In her new role as executive vice president of sales and marketing, Haas will be in charge of leading companywide sales, channel partnerships, business development, marketing and social media, including profit and loss management. She will also be responsible for the end-to-end customer journey to bring digital health care delivery into mainstream medicine.

For two decades, she has held progressive global leadership positions in Fortune 100 companies and startups in the technology and medical sectors. In her most recent role, Haas led a national business development team in a $1.6 billion segment of the $40 billion tech company Oracle. Haas also brings with her in depth experience with the health care market stemming from her time at GE Healthcare.
James Martin, MixComm
MixComm announced the appointment of James “Jay” Martin as vice president of business development. Martin will drive growth in 5G and related markets for the millimeter wave startup. He brings to MixComm an extensive background in wireless business development, design and engineering management with a history of building successful and deep technical relationships with customers in the RF and millimeter wave industries. With 25 years of experience, he has led significant value creation through new opportunity identification and customer engagement.
Most recently, Martin was the senior marketing and business development manager at IDT (now Renesas), where he led wireless infrastructure marketing and business development. Prior to that role, he was the senior business development director at Anadigics (now Skyworks) and has held senior engineering roles at RF Micro Devices, Paratek Microwave and Anadigics.

University Hospital
University Hospital announced the addition of two members to its board of directors. Heather Howard, a direct appointment by Gov. Phil Murphy, and Eric Pennington, the designated representative of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, now fill the two new seats created pursuant to legislation enacted by Murphy in January.
Howard is a health care policy expert and currently a lecturer at Princeton University. She is a faculty affiliate of the Center for Health & Wellbeing and director of the State Health and Value Strategies program, an RWJ Foundation-funded program focused on supporting state efforts to enhance the value of health care by improving population health and reforming the delivery of services.
Pennington is the business administrator for the City of Newark. He is responsible for the city’s $600 million budget and the administration of over 3,000 city employees. Pennington joined Baraka’s administration after an extensive legal career, serving as the managing partner of the Pennington Law Group; as an attorney at the prestigious law firms of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, and at Gibbons P.C.; as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University School of Law; and as a clerk for the New Jersey Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Curt Allen, Vonage
Vonage, a global leader in cloud communications helping businesses accelerate their digital transformation, has announced that industry veteran Curt Allen has joined the company as senior vice president and channel chief.
Allen has more than two decades of channel experience in the tech industry, having been both a master agent and a leader of channel programs with large technology providers. With a reputation for building lasting relationships through agile and measurable strategic initiatives, Allen has a proven record of achieving results in an ever-changing technology marketplace.

Ana Bastiani-Posner, Kyowa Kirin USA Holdings Inc.
Kyowa Kirin USA Holdings Inc., an affiliate of Kyowa Kirin Co. Ltd., a global specialty pharmaceutical company, named Ana Bastiani-Posner, a proven leader with over 20 years of financial experience, as its executive vice president, chief financial officer, effective June 29.
Bastiani-Posner brings strategic leadership and a deep financial background to Kyowa Kirin. Most recently, Bastiani-Posner led the finance and IT functions as senior vice president, finance administration, at the New York Genome Center Inc. Prior to this, Bastiani-Posner held leadership roles in finance at several large pharmaceutical companies, including Allergan, Novartis and Schering-Plough, where she contributed to research and development, mergers and acquisitions and global administration.

Dr. John Friend, Cellectar Biosciences Inc.
Cellectar Biosciences Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of drugs for the treatment of cancer, announced that it has appointed Dr. John Friend as chief medical officer.

Jake Hudnut, Jersey City
Mayor Steven M. Fulop announced Jersey City’s municipal prosecutor, Jake Hudnut, has been selected for the second cohort of the Public Rights Project’s Affirmative Leaders Fellowship, a program created to help attorneys in state and local governments across the country expand their capacity to protect residents’ legal rights.
“The work learned in this fellowship will help Jersey City continue to stand up against slumlords, local polluters, and any other businesses that take advantage of underserved communities,” said Municipal Prosecutor Jake Hudnut. “I’m extremely humbled and excited to be representing Jersey City in this fellowship.”

NFI, a leading supply chain solutions provider, recently welcomed Richard Jung to the company as vice president of sales. With over 30 years of international transportation experience in the ocean carrier and logistics service provider arena, Jung will provide sales leadership to promote and grow the company’s drayage portfolio.
NFI continues to expand its port drayage and transloading solutions, most recently acquiring G&P Trucking Co. in 2019 and California Cartage Co. in 2017 to enhance its drayage presence throughout major ports, rail terminals, and logistics hubs. Monmouth University
At its June meeting, the Monmouth University board of trustees elected its new slate of officers and four members with terms beginning July 1. Jeana M. Piscatelli was elected chair of the board, the first woman in the university’s 87-year history to hold the position. John A. Brockriede Jr. and Leslie N. Hitchner will serve as vice chairs, Christopher D. Maher as treasurer and John C. Conover III as secretary.
“It is an honor to be named chair of the board at my alma mater,” Piscatelli said. “Monmouth is home to me, and I am excited to work alongside President Leahy and fellow board members to build upon our strong foundation as one of the region’s premier private universities.”
