Luis De La Hoz has joined Valley Bank and will lead the company’s new Community Lending Group, the bank announced.
De La Hoz, who serves as chairman of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, will lead the Wayne-based bank’s efforts to support the financial needs of business owners and entrepreneurs in underserved communities.
In this new role, De La Hoz will build a team of commercial lenders who will work with community partners to improve access to capital for minority-owned small businesses in underserved communities and provide Valley’s wide array of financial solutions to help them succeed.
“Minority-owned businesses are the heart of our communities,” De La Hoz said. “They strengthen local economies, create job opportunities and celebrate the diversity of our culture. At Valley, we’re proud to support these small businesses and provide the banking solutions they need to grow and thrive.”
