Enrico Della Corna will take over as the new regional president for PNC Bank, the bank announced Tuesday.
Della Corna succeeds the retiring Linda Bowden. He will assume the role effective Jan. 4, but will work with Bowden until she retires midyear. Della Corna currently serves as regional executive for commercial banking in the Northeast at PNC.
Louis R. Cestello, head of regional markets and regional president of Pittsburgh for PNC Bank, said Della Corna brings two decades of PNC commercial banking management and leadership experience to the New Jersey team.
He currently serves as regional executive for commercial banking in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic. His new role represents a homecoming to the greater New York/New Jersey region. A Brooklyn native, Della Corna’s early professional career included a variety of sales positions in and around New York prior to joining PNC’s management training program in 1989.
Della Corna is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a B.S. in business administration with a major in marketing. He also earned a master’s in international management degree with honors from Thunderbird (the American Graduate School of International Management).
