Care Plus NJ Inc., the Paramus-based primary and behavioral health services company, has named a new chief medical officer among a series of personnel moves, it announced this week.

CarePlus said Dr. Daniel Finch is its new CMO, overseeing the medical leadership team. Finch joined CarePlus in 2019 after seven years as Hackensack Meridian Health’s chief of emergency psychiatry.
In addition, CarePlus added Dr. Jerry Joseph as vice president of addiction medicine and promoted Dr. Tanya Lewis to VP of psychiatry.

“Since joining CarePlus in 2019, Dr. Finch has proven to be a tremendous asset to our organization,” CEO and President Joe Masciandaro said in a prepared statement. “I have every confidence that, as our new chief medical officer, he will continue to make great strides to not only enhance client care through our innovative programs and wraparound services, but to ensure CarePlus continues to be one of the state’s leading providers of integrated primary and behavioral health care.”
Finch had been CarePlus’ VP of population health strategies and director of urgent care psychiatric services. He specializes in urgent care and perinatal mental health.
Joseph and Lewis will work with Finch to enhance behavioral health and addiction treatment services, as well as holding supervisory roles for clinical staff, overseeing program development and more.
