Ignite Venture Studio, a Princeton-based investment company focused on the digital health and beauty sectors, has hired a CEO for a new portfolio company that aims to simplify how primary health care is delivered from home.
Matt Wanderer, founder and former CEO of Carie Health and co-founder of EverGift, will be CEO of Chalkboard Health, Ignite said in a news release Tuesday. His first task will be to launch Chalkboard’s flagship brand, °Fluent, which will aim to streamline the treatment of cold and flu symptoms through telehealth and treatment.

Smith, co-founder and managing partner of Ignite Venture Studio, said in a prepared statement. “Matt’s successful track record in the health care technology space will help to amplify the company’s objectives for a successful launch year.”
