Synchronoss Technologies Inc., the Bridgewater-based cloud and Internet of Things technology firm, said CEO and President Glenn Lurie has resigned following a review of allegations of personal misconduct.
The company has named its chief commercial officer, Jeff Miller, as its interim CEO and president.
Lurie, who also resigned from the company board, is alleged to have violated company policies, but Synchronoss said the resignation is not related to strategy, financial or business performance.
“The board and I look forward to working with Jeff, our chief financial officer, David Clark, and the broader Synchronoss management team to drive forward the ongoing transformation of Synchronoss, building on the strength of our customer relationships, and delivering long-term value to our shareholders,” founder and Chairman Stephen Waldis said in a prepared statement. “We anticipate a smooth leadership transition as we commence a robust search process for the company’s next CEO.”
