Joseph Devine, the former CEO of South Jersey’s Kennedy Health, has joined consulting firm Competitive Business Solutions as its health care practice lead, the Totowa-based firm announced this week.
Devine led Kennedy through its 2018 merger with Jefferson Health and then served in a leadership role with that health system.
He is chair of the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and a former chair of the New Jersey Hospital Association.
“I’m excited to work with CBS,” he said in a prepared statement. “The CBS team has the vision, passion and experience to bring solutions to health care in a way that is much more personal for organizations, based on my experience as a CEO. Health care is at a critical point, and I’m thrilled to work with executives and their organizations to define and support strategies needed to be successful in this new environment.”
