United Airlines announced a significant expansion of its winter international schedule Friday — including increased flight options from Newark Liberty International Airport to destinations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Tickets will be available for purchase Saturday at United.com.
People flying out of Newark will now have more options when going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic or to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta or Los Cabos in Mexico.
Here’s a breakdown:
- Punta Cana: Now two daily flights;
- Cancun: Now four daily flights;
- Puerto Vallarta: Now three to eight times weekly;
- Los Cabos: Now four to eight times weekly.
The increased flights out of Newark were part of a greater announcement by the airline as it added more flights to Latin America from Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver and Washington, D.C.
