Pet Age, a pet industry publication based in Somerset, has launched a virtual marketplace for industry professionals, it announced this week.
Pet Age and its owners, Minnesota-based BridgeTower Media, said in a news release that Total Pet Market would enable those in the sector to discover new products and brands through an online platform. Total Pet Market will enable manufacturers to showcase products such as dog and cat food, small animal, health and other products to an audience of pet retailers.
“Pet Age has served the pet industry for over 45 years,” Group Publisher Ken Kiczales said in a prepared statement. “When the pandemic hit, it ended manufacturer- and retailer-focused gatherings, and we developed Total Pet Market to fill this void. Americans are spending more on their pets than ever before, and we are committed to helping pet manufacturers and retailers find new ways of doing business to serve our growing pet industry.”
