A dermatology practice with an office in Northfield has acquired a fellow South Jersey medical office, it announced this week.
Schweiger Dermatology Group said the acquisition of the Harkaway Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics will give it a new location in Delran and more.
Dr. Karen Harkaway, an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon, along with her team, will join the Schweiger practice.
“Excellence in patient care has always been the foremost concern at our practice, and joining SDG affords us seamless continuity of this standard,” Harkaway said in a prepared statement. “Without the administrative burden of managing the practice, I can focus on what is most important to me: delivering compassionate, top-notch care to our patients.”
Harkaway’s team includes certified physician assistants Jennifer Rosborough, Carli DiCoccio, Melody Boudwin and Gita Roy.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Harkaway and her team to Schweiger Dermatology Group,” Senior Vice President of Business Development Kevin Schirf said in a statement. “She will help us continue our mission of providing high-quality dermatology care across the Northeast by expanding our footprint in the New Jersey area.”
Harkaway’s Delran location will remain open at 8001 Rt. 130 S., while the Northfield location will combine with Schweiger’s location at 200 Tilton Road.
Schweiger, based in New York state, has 65 offices in the Northeast.
