An auto body business has signed a new lease at Echo Plaza Shopping Center in Springfield, according to real estate firm Larken Associates.
The Branchburg-based firm said in a news release that L & J Peotter Enterprise LLC, which operates Peotter’s Auto Body, has signed a lease for 2,750 square feet of retail space at the plaza, at 901 Mountain Ave.
“Through a careful acquisition and development process, paired with the gold standard in property management, our retail spaces are highly sought-after for their mix of location, visibility and flexibility to meet the needs of today’s retail businesses,” Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, Larken’s in-house brokerage division, said in a prepared statement. “We welcome Peotter’s auto detailing supply store to Echo Plaza and look forward to their presence enhancing the wide variety of exciting retail options found at this one-of-a-kind property.”
The Summit-based business is opening a new retail location to sell supplies and conduct educational programming about car care, augmenting its detailing and repair services provided at its existing Broad Street headquarters, Larken said.
Peotter’s services high-end vehicles including Tesla, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volvo brands.
“We are seeking to elevate the auto detailing experience by not just selling supplies, but providing our customers with unique educational and socialization opportunities around car care,” owner Larry Peotter said in a statement. “Echo Plaza’s combination of visibility, accessibility and adaptability made it the ideal location for us to bring this vision to life.”
Echo Plaza is a 66,567-square-foot retail center along Route 22 and Mountain Avenue, and also includes Echo Executive Plaza, a 41,000-square-foot Class A office building.
