Inspira Health, the health care system based in Mullica Hill, has created a chief strategy officer role and promoted a veteran industry leader to the role.
Clare Sapienza-Eck, Inspira’s vice president of business development and planning, will now be responsible for advancing the South Jersey system’s strategic initiatives driving long-term growth, including investments, partnership and other business opportutnities.
Sapienza-Eck, who has more than 25 years of experience in the health care sector, will be working to support new Inspira CEO Amy Mansue and alongside the executive leadership team.
“Clare’s storied career and dedication to the health care industry has made a tremendous impact on the Inspira organization, as well as our patients,” Mansue said in a prepared statement. “Her ability to forecast near- and long-term market trends — coupled with her vast expertise in business development and strategic planning — will be invaluable to the growth of Inspira and our continued mission to improve the lives of our communities.”
Most recently, Sapienza-Eck led master planning efforts for the development of Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, the system’s newest hospital.
