A boutique office building in Morristown has achieved 100% occupancy with the signing of two long-term leases, Transwestern Real Estate Services said recently.
The firm said in a news release it completed the leases at the 20,000-square-foot 62 Elm St., where Dan Ligorner, managing director, serves as leasing agent. The building has gone from vacant to full occupancy in 24 months.
New Vernon Capital, a global asset management firm, signed a 10-year lease for the first floor, moving from Jersey City. New Jersey Monthly signed a 10-year lease for the third floor.
“Transactions require a little extra patience and creativity these days, but achieving 100% occupancy at 62 Elm St. with the addition of these two tenants underscores the continued demand for quality office space in vibrant, transit-oriented suburban markets,” Ligorner said in a prepared statement. “Morristown remains one of New Jersey’s most sought-after downtown destinations, and the property’s central location provides tenants with a true live-work-play environment and easy access to everything the town has to offer.”
