7 from N.J. among Working Mother’s ‘Top Companies for Executive Women,’ including 2 in Top 10

Working Mother has announced it latest “Top Companies for Executive Women,” and seven New Jersey businesses made the list, including two in the Top 10.

The magazine called this year’s list its “2020+” list, as it changed the timing from prior years. The list, which had accepted applications in March of one year and was announced the next March, will now be taking applications and being created in the same calendar year, Working Mother Media said.

This year, both New Brunswick-based Johnson & Johnson and Englewood Cliffs-based Unilever ranked in the Top 10 of the 75-company list.

Other New Jersey-based companies on the list included:

“We are honored to once again be recognized by Working Mother Media for our advancement and development programs for women,” Roxanne Lagano, Zoetis’ executive vice president and chief human resources officer, said in a prepared statement. “Our commitment to women’s advancement starts at the top. In addition to our CEO, Kristin Peck, 50% of the company’s executive team are women.”

Some based elsewhere, but with major presences in the Garden State included: Bank of America; Deloitte; EY; JLL; MetLife and PNC.

Working Mother surveys companies on female demographics at all levels, but with an emphasis on senior corporate roles, including profit & loss responsibilities, as well as women in the Top 20% of earners.
