Imperial Dade acquires Texas janitorial products company

Imperial Dade, the Jersey City-based distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, has acquired a Texas-based distributor of janitorial products, it announced this week.

The deal for Great Southwest Paper Co. Inc. strengthens Imperial Dade’s presence in Texas and the region, the company said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition represents the 29th under the leadership of CEO Robert Tillis and President Jason Tillis, the company noted. The Tillises took over their roles in 2007.

“Great Southwest and the (ownership) Vannattas’ commitment to their customers and partners, along with their family-operated culture, makes the business a great addition to the Imperial Dade platform,” Robert Tillis said in a prepared statement.

Jason Tillis added in a statement: “We are excited to increase our scale in Texas and look forward to partnering with the Vannatta family to capitalize on the many growth opportunities that we see ahead for the business.”
