Certara files for IPO, which could be worth up to $500M

Certara Inc., the Princeton-based biosimulation company, has filed for its initial public offering, priced in a range of $19-22 a share.

Reports say the IPO could be worth between $100 million to $500 million, depending on the number of shares sold and the final price. The filing says 24.39 million shares of common stock would be sold, broken down into 14.63 million new shares and 9.76 million shares held by current stockholders.

Shares will be traded on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol “CERT.”
