The community will include 296 luxury apartments spread over four stories, as well as 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities and direct access to Garwood’s New Jersey Transit station and the Raritan Valley line, Russo said in a news release.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Vermella to the Garwood market,” CEO Edward Russo said in a prepared statement. “This new lifestyle offering will illustrate the brand’s commitment to wellness, recreation, accessibility and excellence.”
This will be the ninth Vermella community in the region, Russo Development noted. Occupancy for the mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments is scheduled for early spring 2021.
The property also will include 19,000 square feet of retail space, including restaurants.
