Fort Lee-based Pioneer Power Solutions Inc., a maker and seller of electrical transmission, distribution and generation equipment, has won a $3.5 million order from an international container company, it announced recently.
The company said in a news release that it will supply a customized energy solution for the undisclosed company’s main terminal in Hawaii. The solution is expected to be shipped by June.
“Pioneer Power continues to win business because of our proven ability to customize solutions for unique electrical and mechanical applications,” CEO Nathan Mazurek said in a prepared statement. “This order, combined with our existing backlog and growing demand for our expertise, gives us increased confidence that our switchgear business revenue and profit should grow notably during 2021 when compared to 2020.”
