Sales begin at North Bergen luxury condo building

Sales have begun at a luxury condominium complex in North Bergen, according to developer Skyline Development Group.

Compass Development Marketing Group’s New Jersey office will market the 70 upscale residences at Solaia, a 14-story building overlooking the Hudson River, according to a news release.

The property at 8701 Churchill Road features one- to three-bedroom homes from 864 to 1,900-plus square feet, with just seven units per floor, starting in the mid-$700,000s, the developer said. Occupancy is expected toward the end of the first quarter.

“Solaia was developed with three pillars in mind — attention to detail, space, and health and wellness,” Skyline founder and CEO Louis Mont said in a prepared statement.

He is developing the property in a joint venture with Vasco Ventures and Mosaic Real Estate. It was designed by Architectura and curated by Downtown Decorators.

Compass’ Kristin Ehrgott will be the broker for the properties.

“Compass is one of the largest independent real estate brokerage firms in the country, and has recently launched in New Jersey with considerable market share,” she said in a statement. “Solaia will be our premier newly constructed development.”

The property also features 10,000 square feet of amenities, including a three-story wellness center with fitness center, salt therapy room and more, as well as a roof deck, coworking space and owner’s lounge.
