Spencer’s, Spirit Halloween parent names COO/CFO to president’s role

Spencer Spirit Holdings, the Egg Harbor Township-based parent company of the Spencer’s and Spirit Halloween retail brands, has promoted a top executive to president, it announced recently.

Isaac “Ike” Silvera will add the new title to his current roles as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, the retailer said in a news release.

“As a 17-year veteran of Spencer’s and Spirit Halloween, Ike’s leadership and guidance has been instrumental to our revenue growth to over $1 billion,” CEO Steven Silverstein said in a prepared statement. “In the face of a global pandemic, Ike’s decisive and strategic leadership skills have played a crucial role in our ability to successfully and safely navigate what remains a highly uncertain environment.”

Silvera, who joined the company in 2003, leads the finance, supply chain, real estate, information technology and e-commerce teams, playing a key role in driving new initiatives and strategy.

Spencer Spirit credited him with helping the company open and operate more than 1,400 Spirit Halloween locations during the year, and reopen all of the Spencer’s locations after they were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
