Columbia Bank, based in Fair Lawn, has named a new head of commercial banking, it announced this week.
Oliver Lewis, who had been senior vice president, commercial banking market manager since May 2019, will now be executive VP and head of commercial banking for the bank. In his new role, he will be responsible for the division that includes Commercial & Industrial, SBA, Middle Market, Commercial Real Estate and Construction lending activities, as well as the Treasury Management Sales and Business Development departments, the bank said in a news release.
“Oliver has been an exemplary leader throughout his time at Columbia Bank and is well-versed in many areas, from lending to sales, to treasury management services,” CEO and President Thomas J. Kemly said in a prepared statement. “With over 25 years of experience, he is well-positioned to accelerate the growth of our commercial banking strategy.”
Lewis, who holds an MBA from Rutgers University, is also a board member of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
