Bel Fuse Inc., a Jersey City-based supplier of circuit products, has named a new chief financial officer, it announced Tuesday.
Farouq Tuweig, an investment banker, takes over as CFO effective Feb. 15, the company said in a news release. Tuweig was most recently with BMO Capital Markets, where he led the Industrial Technology Investment Banking practice.
“Farouq is a skilled senior professional with a unique background in acquisitions, capital markets, finance and accounting that will greatly enhance our ability to accelerate and execute our growth strategy,” CEO Daniel Bernstein said in a prepared statement. “He will be keenly focused on various pathways to unlock and create shareholder value, both organic and inorganic.”
