Carlstadt graphics printing business acquired by NYC company

Vernon Display Graphics, a Carlstadt-based graphics printing company, has been acquired by a New York City-based firm, it announced Thursday.

BluEdge, which offers creative graphics, print services and more, has acquired the New Jersey firm from its Iowa-based parent company. The deal expands BluEdge’s service offerings, which include a production shop in Belleville, it said in a news release.

“We are very excited about joining the BluEdge family,” Ernie Minotti, Vernon’s general manager, said in a prepared statement. “Being able to expand our offerings to include equipment sales, 3D services and managed print services — as well as six locations — is really going to benefit our current clients.”

BluEdge said the deal enables it to increase its large-format color graphics capabilities and offer niche screen-printing services.
