Law firm, GSA renew leases at Continental Plaza in Hackensack

Two companies have signed long-term lease renewals at a property in Hackensack, according to real estate firm CBRE.

The company said the law firm of Shapiro, Croland, Reiser, Apfel & Di Iorio LLP and the U.S. General Services Administration both extended their time at Continental Plaza. The team of Donald Sperling and Erin Wenzler represented building owner Lionstone Capital in the negotiations.

“Continental Plaza offers an unparalleled work environment,” Sperling said in a prepared statement. “Tenants continuously choose Continental Plaza even during these challenging and unprecedented times. These long-term renewals are a testament to the strength of the property and ownership’s hands-on approach to managing this Class A office complex.”

Shapiro Croland signed for its 11,000-square-foot space for 10 years, while the GSA signed for its 23,000-square-foot space for five years. The Class A property includes three buildings and a restaurant totaling 647,947 square feet at 401, 411 and 433 Hackensack Ave.
