M&T creates ‘voice of customer director’ role

M&T Bank Corp. has named a “voice of customer director,” a new position aimed at helping the bank — which has a major presence in New Jersey — listen to and develop interactions with customers and communities, it announced.

Nicolas Boesch will serve as group vice president in addition to the new role. He joins the Buffalo, New York-based bank from BMW of North America, where he had been manager of customer intelligence and strategy.

“M&T is focused on enhancing our customers’ experiences and keeping the customer at the center of all we do,” Chief Customer Experience Officer Aarthi Murali said in a prepared statement. “The addition of Nicolas to our team will accelerate this work by empowering our employees to drive innovative and meaningful change for our customers’ journey through all areas of the bank.”
