City of Vineland buys former highway products company HQ

The city of Vineland has purchased an industrial building for its Municipal Utilities Division, according to real estate firm WCRE.

The firm said in a news release that the city bought the 32,000-square-foot property at 1740 E. Oak Road, the former headquarters of Garden State Highway Products Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The building will now be occupied by the MU Division’s electric utilities generation unit. It includes 7,000 square feet of office space and 25,000 square feet of warehouse space.

Garden State Highway Products recently moved its operations to a larger, 140,000-square-foot property in Millville.

WCRE Vice President Ryan Barikian exclusively represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction.
