Monica Casiello, the director of marketing and business development at U.S. Title Solutions, has been named to the executive committee of the advisory board of the Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School.
The Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School is predicated on its ability to bring together the real estate industry’s brightest and most influential executives to interact with students and set the academic course for the center. Advisory board members were carefully selected and represent a diverse group of leaders in a variety of fields related to the real estate industry.
As a member of the center’s executive committee, Casiello will serve as a vital conduit of information, knowledge and best practices, fostering productive discussion among students, industry peers, government and academia. Members of the executive committee of the center’s advisory board share a common goal of fostering productive discussion in order to advance the study of real estate and to meet the evolving needs of a diverse student population by providing real-world experiences and collegial access to the top minds in real estate.
Morris Davis, the Paul V. Profeta Chair of Real Estate and academic director of the center, said Casiello is a perfect for the role.
“Anyone that knows Monica knows that she is a driving force for real change and innovation for the real estate industry in New Jersey,” he said. “Monica has been a strong supporter of the center since it first began, participating on the conferences and events committee, and promoting the activities and programs of the center to her expansive professional network.
“We are pleased that she has agreed to work with the other members of the executive committee to continue the growth and development of the Center for Real Estate.”
Casiello said she was honored to take on the new role.
“I am thrilled to be joining this illustrious group,” she said. “I consider members of the executive committee to be pillars of the real estate industry and I am honored to serve with them. The Rutgers Center for Real Estate is a vital institution that is breaking down barriers to educate the next generation of leaders: a diverse group of highly motivated students who are inspired to carry the torch into the future. I can hardly wait to participate and do my part to grow the program.”
Casiello facilitates and oversees the title insurance component of major commercial, industrial and residential developments, refinances and ground leases throughout the U.S. in her role at U.S. Title Solutions. In addition, she interfaces with and cultivates relationships among developers, attorneys, lenders, municipal leaders and state agencies to foster economic development.
She appeared on the ROI Influencers: Real Estate 2020 list for service providers.
Casiello sits on the board of directors of several organizations, including the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, NAIOP-NJ and the Atlantic City Arts Commission. She is an appointed member of the Atlantic County Economic Development Advisory Commission.
