Two firms sign leases in Hillsborough, Larken Associates says

Two companies have signed 3,000 square feet worth of leases at Hillsborough Business Center in Hillsborough, according to real estate firm Larken Associates.

Branchburg-based Larken said in a news release that Caputron, a distributor of neurostimulation technology, and Metamorpheus Design Services, a home staging business, each signed 1,500-square-foot leases at the center on Stryker Lane.

“While they were in high demand over the last several years, industrial flex properties in suburban markets, like the Hillsborough Business Center, have continued to see strong demand throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, Larken’s in-house brokerage division, said in a prepared statement. “Prized for their adaptability and ease of access, these types of properties are well-positioned to continue to attract tenants from a wide range of industries — even as we face a period of considerable economic instability.”

New York-based Caputron will use its new space to enhance current warehouse and distribution capabilities, while Chatham-based Metamorpheus will use the site for additional storage and office space, Larken said.

The Hillsborough Business Center is a 550,000-square-foot, 27-building industrial/flex complex just east of Route 206 in the township.
