Endoscopy partners grow through acquisition, alliance with Holy Name

An endoscopy alliance, in partnership with Holy Name Medical Center, has acquired an endoscopic surgery center, it announced recently.

The Pennsylvania-based Physicians Endoscopy and the North Bergen-based Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy LLC, through the partnership with the Teaneck-based hospital, will turn Hudson Bergen Endo Surgical Center, also in North Bergen, into a second location for ACE.

“We are excited to leverage our existing partnership with Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy LLC and enter into a new partnership with Holy Name Medical Center through this acquisition,” Larry Trenk, Physicians Endoscopy’s vice president of operations, said in a prepared statement. “We are committed to delivering excellence and safety in gastrointestinal patient care using state-of-the-art endoscopic medical technology and the latest procedural practices at Hudson Bergen Endo Surgical Center.”

Physicians Endoscopy and ACE have been strategic partners since 2012, and the new partnership with Holy Name will enable the two to contribute to the hospital’s community service and outreach efforts, they said in a news release.
