Bogota Savings Bank buys new HQ building in Hasbrouck Heights

A vacant former bank building in Hasbrouck Heights has sold, according to real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.

NAI Hanson said in a news release that the 15,390-square-foot building at 181 Boulevard has been sold to Bogota Savings Bank. NAI Hanson’s Joan Cenicola and John Schilp represented the undisclosed seller.

The two-story building will serve as the Bogota-based bank’s new corporate headquarters as well as a branch office, NAI Hanson said.

“While the retail market continues to be challenging, our relationships in the Bergen County market provide us with the insights and contacts needed to close deals for a range of property types,” Cenicola said in a prepared statement. “We were pleased to work collaboratively to help our client sell their space to a community-based bank.”
