Luxury rental property in historic bank building opens in Hackensack

A new luxury rental property in Hackensack has opened, according to developer Heritage Capital Management LLC.

The company celebrated the grand opening of 210 Main, which offers 126 new luxury apartments in the downtown section, as well as a series of amenities including a media and game lounge, bike room and more.

The property is a redevelopment of a historic 11-story bank building that includes 89 residences, and a second, four-story building with 37 boutique units. Layouts range from studios to two-bedrooms, and the property includes 5,500 square feet of street-level retail space.

“Leasing has been robust even while we were putting the finishing touches on this distinctive offering during late fall and early winter,” Michael Behot, asset manager for Ridgewood-based Heritage, said in a prepared statement. “More than one-third of the apartments are already leased, and new residents continue to move in every week.”

The property was designed by Environetics, and the Marketing Directors is serving as exclusive marketing and leasing agent. The Hackensack Main Street Association has leased one of the three retail storefronts.
