Fort Monmouth’s first residential project nears sellout

The first residential component in the Fort Monmouth redevelopment has nearly sold out, according to developer RPM Development Group.

East Gate is a luxury collection of 68 homes, including sites on the former Army post’s Officer’s Row, the Montclair-based developer said in a news release. CB New Homes of Madison is the exclusive sales and marketing agent.

“The success of East Gate validates Fort Monmouth as one of the area’s highly desirable residential addresses,” RPM’s Michael Hong, vice president of development, said in a prepared statement. “It’s unquestionably one of the most unique community settings in the Monmouth County market, and the infrastructure provided the perfect canvas to create a beautiful neighborhood that mixed homes of great distinction and old-world charm with gorgeously landscaped grounds and streetscapes.”

Houses in the Oceanport community start in the upper $700,000s, and offer more than 2,500 square feet of living space with amenities such as patios and master suites.
